Honey Pecan Chicken Thighs

- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper shopping list
- 1/2 tsp ground red pepper shopping list
- 1/2 tsp ground thyme shopping list
- 8 skinned and boned chicken thighs shopping list
- 3/4 c honey,divided shopping list
- 3/4 c Dijon mustard ,divided shopping list
- 2 garlic cloves,minced shopping list
- 1 c finely chopped pecans shopping list
- 1/2 tsp curry powder shopping list
- Garnish: Sprigs of Italian parsley shopping list
How to make it
- Combine firsst 4 ingredients;sprinkle evenly over chicken in shallow dish. Stir together 1/2 c honey,1/2 c mustard,and garlic,pour over chicken. Cover,chill 2 hours
- Remove chicken from marinade,discarding marinade. Dredge chicken in pecans;place on a lightly greased rack in an aluminum foil-lined broler pan.
- Bake at 375 for 40 mins or till chicken is done.
- Stir together remaining 1/4 c honey,remaining 1/4 c mustard and curry powder;serve sauce with chicken. Garnish ,if desired

I think this is what I will do with the chicken thighs tomorrow - can you marinate them longer than 2 hours without making a mess of it? I would likely have to put that part together before work and it would have to wait 9 hours or more to go to the ...more
