I think I would like these. I will have to try them, as I LOVE corn dogs but hardly ever eat them anymore.
Thanks!

I made these last night. I'm not sure about the brown sugar. I couldn't taste that it added a "flavor" and the corn bread mix is sweet as it is, so I don't think I would add it next time. I only could fit 1/3 of a hot dog in my muffin tins and I had to bake them for 20 minutes in my oven. They were good with mustard on 'em! Thanks!

I forgot to add that I do not add the brown sugar when I make it, but my co-worker who gave me the recipe does, so I posted the recipe as she gave it to me. I also use cheap turkey hot dogs that are small so when I cut them in half they fit in the muffin tin.

I forgot to also say, qtpie, that this recipe was easy to cut in half for single eater me! Thanks again!

Sounds good with the cheese, but does it melt out?
qtpie 2 years, 3 months ago said:
No mslisa the cheese doesn't melt out of the muffin.

These are great. We made them for the grandkids. Omitted sugar and diced the dogs and mixed with the batter so the little one would not choke. Everyone loved it.

I made a similar recipe from another site, except it was in a casserole instead of muffin cups. It was great! Kids and adults love this one!

I just got done making these and they were pretty good. My first batch they did not hold well on the bottoms so I used paper baking cups and it solved the problem. My family will love these. Thanks.
