I just got done making these and they were pretty good. My first batch they did not hold well on the bottoms so I used paper baking cups and it solved the problem. My family will love these. Thanks.

I made a similar recipe from another site, except it was in a casserole instead of muffin cups. It was great! Kids and adults love this one!

I have never tried to freeze these particular muffins, but I have frozen corn bread muffins before and they turned out fine.

These are great. We made them for the grandkids. Omitted sugar and diced the dogs and mixed with the batter so the little one would not choke. Everyone loved it.

I forgot to add that I do not add the brown sugar when I make it, but my co-worker who gave me the recipe does, so I posted the recipe as she gave it to me. I also use cheap turkey hot dogs that are small so when I cut them in half they fit in the muffin tin.

I made these last night. I'm not sure about the brown sugar. I couldn't taste that it added a "flavor" and the corn bread mix is sweet as it is, so I don't think I would add it next time. I only could fit 1/3 of a hot dog in my muffin tins and I had to bake them for 20 minutes in my oven. They were good with mustard on 'em! Thanks!
