Lazy (Wo)Man's Chicken Kiev

I love Chicken Kiev but don't have the patience most nights to make it the way it's traditionally made. This is just as good and so much easier.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless chicken breasts, pounded out to 1/4 inch shopping list
- 2 eggs, beaten shopping list
- 1 cup flour shopping list
- 2 cups bread crumbs (I like panko) shopping list
- 1/4 tsp.thyme shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
- 6 tbls. butter shopping list
- 1/4 tbls. garlic powder shopping list
- chives, chopped shopping list
- olive oil shopping list
How to make it
- Set up dredging station with 3 bowls, 1 flour, another with eggs and the last with bread crumbs, thyme,salt and pepper
- Add olive oil to skillet and set to medium high heat
- Dredge chicken in flour, then egg and lastly breadcrumbs
- Add to skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides
- Add butter and garlic powder to microwave safe dish and melt butter
- Plate chicken and pour garlic butter over
- Garnish with chives
