How to make it

  • Set up dredging station with 3 bowls, 1 flour, another with eggs and the last with bread crumbs, thyme,salt and pepper
  • Add olive oil to skillet and set to medium high heat
  • Dredge chicken in flour, then egg and lastly breadcrumbs
  • Add to skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides
  • Add butter and garlic powder to microwave safe dish and melt butter
  • Plate chicken and pour garlic butter over
  • Garnish with chives

    Oh yeah, this sounds perfect:) I've made Chicken Kiev many times and it is quite labor intensive! For me anyway...lol

    Very delicious. I've never had chicken kiev before so I don't know if its anything like it or not, but I loved it anyway. :) Easy and it gave me a chance to use my electric skillet. Cut the recipe in half - except for the thyme. Thanks for a great dinner. Added my picture as well. A tiny bit more in IMI

    Tried this last night and it was totally yummy. I like the Chicken even all on its own pan fried with the panko, and then the garlic butter addition, well......five stars of course. I did add a pinch of salt to my garlic butter as I used margarine. Thanks Corinne!

    Yum! I've made something similar to this before, but never poured garlic butter over the finished product. That sounds like heaven!! Trying this soon for sure! :)
