I tried this recipe last weekend, unfortunately I did not have the same results. My cookies ended up having a taste of overpowering sweetness, what was I to expect over 1 cup of nutella? It was crunchy on the outside and diabetus on the inside. Besides the fact they they were oversweet, the cookies were good for a treat once in a while. I'm not a sweet eater but these were totally an exception. I used a little spoon to keep the cookies even and so they wouldn't break. I also flattened my out more than you did in your pictures, which was a bit helpful because you could taste the filling. I took exactly 10 minutes to bake these babies. Super quick and simple. Love this recipe!

These were just like you said...not overly sweet and very easy. I, also, am not much of a sweets eater, but had Nutella to use up, so these were a given! :) I used my lil cookie scoop so they came out smooth and even. Thanks for the recipe!

I'm not much for sweets but I do love hazelnuts so I gave these a try. A very nice, chewy, chocolatey with a hint of nutty cookie! More like a flattened brownie. :) It looks like I flattened mine a bit more than your picture. Took exactly 10 minutes to cook. I found letting them sit on the parchment paper for a minute or two made them easier to get off the sheet without breaking up. Cooled them on a rack. I got 23 cookies and added my picture. Thanks for the wonderful post!

I needed a sweet treat last night, so I whipped up these little treasures. Extremely easy & super quick to put together – which I love on a weeknight! I used whole wheat flour and ½ cup of pecans – needed a few additional splashes of milk in order to get all of the flour incorporated, but I find that happens a lot when I bake with whole wheat flour, I need to increase the wet just a smidge. They are absolutely delicious, even for someone like me who isn’t a big chocolate freak, and the background nuttiness is really great & makes these pretty special. Boy, I wish I had one of these right now! Wonderful recipe, D – thanks so much for posting!

Very yummy fudgy cookie. I totally agree with sbhardin. Pecans would be good. They go together quickly. With fewer than 2 dozen, it helps keep me from having 'a baker's dozen' for the baker :) Used whole wheat flour and raw sugar with great results. Thanks for the recipe!
