Garlicky Pan-Roasted Chicken

- 2 teaspoons minced garlic shopping list
- 6 tablespoons lemon juice shopping list
- 6 tablespoons worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1/4 cup melted butter (can substitute olive oil) shopping list
- 3/4 teaspoon black pepper shopping list
- pinch of cayenne pepper shopping list
- 1/3 cup minced parsley shopping list
- 4-6 skinned and boned chicken breast halves shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- In medium glass or enamel baking pan mix garlic, lemon juice and Worcestershire with 1/2 cup water. Add butter and both the black and cayenne pepper and half the parsley.
- Cross hatch the tops of the chicken with 4 slashes, about 1/4 inch deep. Place chicken, scored side down, in pan and spoon the sauce over.
- Bake, uncovered, 20 minutes. Remove from oven and stir in remaining parsley.
- Serve chicken with a spoonful (or two) of sauce over the top.
