Ingredients

How to make it

  • Wash and scrub potatoes
  • Wrap in foil
  • Bake for 2 hours at 350 degrees
  • When baked, remove from oven, cool, slice in half
  • Using a teaspoon, scoop the potatoes, leaving only a potato "boat"
  • In a medium bowl, mash the scooped potatoes thoroughly
  • Add the softened butter, French Onion Dip, cheese, sliced green onions, hot sauce, salt, and pepper to taste
  • Mix well
  • Mound the mixture back into the empty potato "boats"
  • Place in a baking pan or on a cookie sheet
  • Bake again at 350 degrees for about 30 more minutes

    I love double stuffed. I make them like you do and sometimes I place broccoli spears or cauliflower florets in the shells before I put the potatoes back in them. So good thenks.
