Mean, mean, mean! this makes my mouter water something fierce early in the morning - and i have no way at all - aside from flying to the states - to get my hands on this 'andouille sausage'. i can see me now...juice dripping off my chin - this is a great recipe! and with my favourite blue cheese,, too. thanks for sharing - and thank you very much for making me so hungry at that time of the day *lol* Renate

I made these burgers for dinner last night and it was fantastic! My husband wasn't a fan of the pecans though so i may have to omit them next time. I loved the crunch though! This is a great post!

I have had this recipe in my manager for awhile and dying to try it. I was having one of those what to make moments and thought of this. I did not have any andouille or blue cheese in the house so I substituted chorizo in the burgers and Rondele herbed cheese on the bun and used a Chipotle pepper in the mayo instead of cajun spice and hot sauce. They were amazing! Thanks for the inspiration!
