Ingredients

I already knew that parsley was great for softening the skin and has been used as a toner (pores) but when I read that the tea I love which is Rooibos is also great for the skin, topically I decided to combine the two together instead of the basic 1 cup of boiling water you use 1 cup hot rooibos tea.

So here is the first recipe

Parsley skin toner:

1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped

1 cup hot rooibos ( green tea is great for the skin too)

In a medium bowl, place the parsley and cover it with your hot tea. Allow to cool then strain and pour into a clean jar with a lid. When you want to use, apply to your face with a cotton ball.

Lemon Toner for oily or combination skin:

1 lemon squeezed into a glass jar

1 cup distilled water

1/3 cup good quality witch hazel

In your jar, combine ingredients. Before each use shake, again apply with a cotton ball.

Here is a great mask for oily skin

Cucumber Lemon Mask:

( 1 use)

1/2 organic cucumber, chopped

1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice

1 tsp fresh organic mint

In blender, combine ingredients until blended well. Place in fridge for a half hour, then apply to your face and leave on for 10 minutes. Rinse with warm water. Then splash your face with cold water to close pores.

Facial scrub ( my favorite)

1/4 cup organic oats

1/4 cup sliced raw almonds

goats milk

In food processor, grind your oats and almonds until powder like. Next add just enough goats milk to form a thick paste. Apply to your face and neck, gently massaging, you can leave on for 5-6 minutes also. Rinse with luke-warm water.

Directions

use on face for beautilicious skin. No chemicals required.

Also did you know that you can use henna and egg whites to give you hair a nice natural colour. Also, Egg whites on the face firms your skin up !! My aunt used to do it.
