Cornbread Pie

A favorite of chili n cornbread lovers. Quick and easy. From a local news program.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lb lean ground beef (93%) shopping list
- 1 T worcestershire shopping list
- 1 T Heinz 57 shopping list
- 1 tbsp of chili powder shopping list
- 1 t cumin shopping list
- 1/2 t cayenne pepper shopping list
- 1/4 t red pepper flakes shopping list
- 1 T chopped garlic shopping list
- 1 onion, chopped shopping list
- 1 large can diced tomatoes shopping list
- 1 can of shoepeg corn, drained shopping list
- 1 chopped green pepper shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- 1 pkg Jiffy cornbread mix shopping list
How to make it
- Brown beef, worcestershire, heinz 57, onion, garlic and green pepper with seasonings, drain if needed
- Add tomatoes and corn
- Simmer 15 minutes and pour into casserole.
- Mix Jiffy cornbread mix as on package.
- Then drizzle cornbread mixture over meat mixture.
- Bake 350 for 18 to 20 minutes or until cornbread is golden brown.
