Horseradish-Crusted Pork Chops

- 4 (1 ½ inch) thick pork center loin chops shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- 1 tsp. rosemary, chopped shopping list
- 1 tsp. thyme, chopped shopping list
- 2 TB olive oil shopping list
- 1 tsp. salt shopping list
- ½ tsp. cracked black pepper shopping list
- 1 tsp. olive oil shopping list
- horseradish crust (recipe below) shopping list
How to make it
- In a large self-sealing bag, mix together the garlic, rosemary, thyme and 2 TB olive oil; add chops and seal bag; refrigerate overnight. Remove chops from bag; season with salt and pepper. Heat oven to 450 degrees. Heat the 1 tsp. olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add chops and cook for 5 minutes; turn and brown for 5 minutes more. Remove chops to shallow baking dish; top each chop with 1-2 TB Horseradish Crust and place in oven for 6-8 minutes, until the crust is golden brown.
- HORSERADISH CRUST:
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the following together well:
- 1 stick softened butter
- 6 TB prepared horseradish
- ¼ tsp ground black pepper
- 1 c. fine dry bread crumbs
- Cover and refrigerate until ready to use; refrigerate any leftovers.

This was really delicious. Just the right amount of horseradish. My pork chops took about 12 minutes in the oven to get to the brown I wanted. I cut the horseradish crust recipe in half and I still have a lot left over! I guess I'll try it on some...more
