How to make it

  • Grate cheese, add butter and allow butter and cheese to reach room temperature.
  • Add cayenne pepper (careful its hot) and flour, and work together with hands until well blended.
  • Put dough through a cookie press in desired shapes and bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
  • Let cool slightly.

    I never knew these would be so easy to make! I will never buy store bought ones again.

    YUM YUM.

    The only modification i did was add in some chopped chives to the batter. It went really well with the cheese. :)

    These caught my husbands eye as he was walking past the computer. They look pretty good to me too! I was wondering if I could just squeeze the dough out of a freezer bag with the corner snipped off as I don't have a cookie press? What do you think? thanks for the post.
