I have one called Roseanne's Loose Meat sandwich, that my family loves. I'll be happy to give your version a spin next time. My husband loves Maid-rites. Great post.

Maybe this is one will start a fad of new cuisine in AUSSIE! As they say here ... good on ya!

We have a Maid Rite close to us and My husband grew up eating there. Thanks for the recipe!! We will try.

I've never heard of a made rite. It sounds good though!

Sounds delish! gets my 5 forks, Lucy

This must be Roseanne Barr's definition of a loose meat sandwich! Never heard of Maid Rite...am guessing it's a mid-west company. The secret must be in the worcestershire sauce!

Yeah.. These are so good.I agree with conner909

Yea! Maid rite--it is from the midwest. I get teased all the time when I call a loosemeat/sloppyjoe/tavern a maid rite. Good to see it in print.... :)
