- 1 part water
- 1 part Hand Cream
- 1 part Listerine
Directions
- Mix it together in a spray bottle and spray it on their coat and rub it into their skin too.
- The listerine is anti-bacterial and takes away any smell from that, the lanolin in the hand cream makes their hair shiny and softens their skin.
- It sounds weird but it really works...trust me

I have a rottweiler who hates baths. Sounds good! BUT...does it work after she has met a skunk? My cat is very clean but a little help wouldn't hurt, and the mixture wouldn't be bad for her to lick afterward.

What a great post...does it work for skunk. My jack russell was sprayed by a skunk a few years back and it took months to get rid of that awful smell. P.S. your babies are gorgous.

Hey that's a good idea... I know Vanilla Extract works very very well for getting rid of skunk smell... learned that the hard way after our lab got sprayed 3 times in a month!

This sounds like the perfect thing to spray on the "wet dog" before toweling her off after a quick "out" in the yard, during a rain!
