My Buffalo Wings Recipe
Great buffalo wings that are baked not fried. Been making them a long time this way.

Ingredients
  • 3lbs chicken wings,tip discarded and wing cut in two sections or 24 wing sections
  • 2T vegetable oil
  • Salt and ground pepper
  • Sauce
  • 1/2c hot red pepper sauce
  • 1/2c mayonaisse
  • I use
  • 1/2c Frank"s hot sauce
  • 1/3c butter

Directions
  1. Adjust oven rack to upper middle and heat to 450. Set large rack over foil-lined jelly roll pan. Toss wings in a bowl with oil,salt and pepper. Arrange single layer on rack. Roast till golden 40-60 mins.
  2. Dump wings in the sauce;toss to coat. pour rendered fat from the pan;turn wings onto foil-lined pan and seperate with a fork. Continue to roast until glaze is set;8-10 mins longer
  3. Sauce
  4. Either mix mayo and hot sauce or melt butter and mix with Frank"s

I am making wings tonight, just like this exceptI pour a little melted butter over wings b4 I bake them...Frank's hot sauce and butter mix is great! This is a 5-forker!

Being from the Buffalo area I love wings and have eaten at the Anchor Bar a lot. These are Hot Wings though, Not Buffalo-there is only one Buffalo recipe. Pleclare- I have been baking my Buffalo wings for over 30 years and no one knows that they aren't deep fried. Hey-Good luck with the game. Go Yankees~~~~~~~~~~Oh, never mind!! SOB!

I use creamy bleu cheese instead of mayonnaise.
