Pink Hippopotamus Lemonade Recipe

Ingredients

How to make it

  • Dissolve sugar in a little hot water and pour into jug (1 1/2 -2 liters)
  • Add ice cubes
  • Slice one lemon thinly and add to jug
  • Add juice of three lemons
  • Add Mint leaves.
  • Fill jug with water and stir everything
  • THATS IT!
  • OH! The pink Hippopotomus thing ? That was just to get you curious and if you are reading this now, It probably worked.
  • Serving suggestion; For older kids, (21+) , Add 1/2 bottle of Vodka to make a great cocktail

    I really want to make this recipe, but can you tell me where I can get the pink hippo? LOL I'm the only person alive who can kill mint. If any of mine (potted) has survived, I'll have to make the hippo-free version! LOVE ME SOME LEMONS!

    The hippo was a lil tricky to find, but there she is! ;) Seriously, a must have around here for summer time...and then mint just makes an already refreshing drink that much more so. Great addition to the site! :)

    You did it again...you made me laugh and I love you for that ( in a friendly way I mean) a 5 as big as a hippo.
    I love it the way hippos charge and half way to the target forget where they were going.

    Ok so I have everything except I had to substitute a gray Hippopotamus for a pink one and I am having trouble getting it into the jug.

    Hei! I'll try this! I'm pregnant and I'm tired of drinking plain water. I wish I can try it with the vodka though :P. Until the breastfeeding days are over. :( Thanks!
