Hot and Spicy Cabbage

HOT AND SPICY CABBAGE This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Viler Estate in Georgetown, Texas in 1991.
Ingredients
- 1 pound sausage shopping list
- 1 large head cabbage shredded shopping list
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper shopping list
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar shopping list
- water shopping list
- Hot cooked rice shopping list
How to make it
- Cook sausage then drain half of the drippings.
- Add cabbage, pepper and sugar the drippings then stir until mixture cooks down.
- Add water to cover and cook until tender.
- Serve over hot rice.
