Lovely Lemon Delicacy

Something like a pudding cake. This dessert comes out of the oven a lemon jelly topped with a nice brown crust.
Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 2 tablespoons flour shopping list
- pinch of salt shopping list
- 2 egg yolks, beaten shopping list
- 1 cup milk shopping list
- Grated rind and juice of 1 lemon shopping list
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted. shopping list
- 2 egg whites, stiffly beaten shopping list
How to make it
- Sift together sugar, flour, and salt.
- Stir in egg yolks.
- Beat in milk, lemon rind and juice, and butter.
- Fold in egg whites.
- Pour into greased 8" pie plate or 1-quart baking dish.
- Set pie plate or baking dish in pan of hot water(about halfway up sides of pie plate) and bake at 350 degrees F for 30 - 45 minutes.
- Serve cold.
