I'm with you. This is a classic and I really miss it as well. Great post and one of my favorite all-time dressings. You have my 5.

Me too. Wonderful stuff.

They still sell it in TX. I bet this is better. Thanks. By the way could you use anchovie paste instead of the actual fish?

Yes! I love Green Goddess dressing. And yea, I would use the paste instead, I always do in my dressings, because I like the flavour but I don't like the fish.

I still can find Green Goddess in our area.. but I like homemade.. this is different than mine! So I have to make it! I think yours might be creamier! Great post!

Boy are we showing our age or what!! I love this dressing.

Yes, anchovie paste works great!

Gr8t Post, I make mine the same way but with the addition of Avocados....

OK... you win! This is way better than mine! Whipped this up late this afternoon and it was soooooooo good! Got my 5!

Lawdy, It has been a long time since I saw any of this dressing. I have never had the real recipe so I do appreciate you putting this one on!

I have to admit that I've never had this dressing....The ingredients sound great so I must try...:)

This sounds great. I love to make my own dressing and with fresh herbs. YUM!!!

This is my favorite dressing! Certainly a five! Yummers!

Have anchovies left from my tapenade, and I just don't use them for much elst...this is bein' made, today! Thanks, Ms. Marky! :)

And delicious, it was! :) I put the parsley, chives, anchovies, vinegar and lemon juice in my processor, then added all that to the sour cream/mayo and added fresh ground pepper last, to taste. Wonderful served on a leaf lettuce salad with cucumbers and cherry tomatoes. :)

YUMMY and I missed it before..55555..FFF groupies!

I love that there is no sugar in this (most recipes I've seen for it have some added, but your recipe proves it's not necessary!). A Green Goddess dressing is soooo good, I can't wait to try this homemade version...thanks, marky.

This recipe just absolutely fabulous! Ha ha! 5
