Ingredients
  • THIS REALLY WORKS!!!
  • Exercise for people over 40.
  • Begin by standing on a comfortable surface, where you have plenty of room on both sides.
  • Hold a 5-lb potato sack in each hand, extend your arms straight out from your sides and hold them there as long as you can. Try to reach a full minute, and then relax.
  • Each day you'll find that you can hold this position for just a bit longer.
  • After a couple of weeks, move up to 10-lb potato sacks. Be patient. Then, after another couple weeks, try 50-lb potato sacks.
  • Eventually, try to get to where you can lift a 100-lb potato sack in each hand while holding your arms straight for more than a full minute. (I'm at this level).

Great post! Another exercise I do is running around the block 5 times everyday. When I'm done ,I push it back under the bed

I like to do 12 oz curls once a week, and on that special day of the week, I usually repeat at least 6 times....

good one here!

LMAO love it.

That is so funny, JJ - thanks! And the comments are hilarious, too. Hehehe... :)

Very funny! I was getting ready to give you all kinds of excuses!!! I guess I'd need Ronny's Round TUIT!!

Great post - went camping again this weekend and did the 12 oz. arm excercise-got great biceps myself!

LOL...So funny :)

Another great excercise for losing weight is as follows:
1) Move your head to the left.
2) Move your head to the right.
3) Repeat first two stages
4) Return head to centre
Do this excercise every time someone offers you food and I will guarantee a weight loss!

That reminds me of the oscillating pedestal fan I have in my office. It always says "No" to anything I ask it. JJ

LOL, This is so funny. And then put a potato in the bags. I was about to see if I had any potatoes to do this and read last line.

That was GREAT!! LOL LOL LOL!! I was reading down...then...boom! Thanks for a smile today!

Thx for the Laugh .........

Oh My! lol..lol.. this was a good one! You really had me going. lol... And, I was thinking maybe I could start with just a potato... Thanks for the laugh and the fun.....

Love it--maybe I'll begin to exercise at 41!!!

Yes tameildham, whatever you do, don't start to early. JJ

Good one! I use to run but then the bakery started staying open a little later so I quit.

I'm going to try this. I am going to use real hand weights. I have to take high school kids to P.E. And the weights are there so I can go from 5 to 10 and higher with that, then I will be strong enough to wrap my hands around their throats......

Oh yes! More more and more humor. Makes the world go around. Thanks!

Very funny!
