Ingredients

How to make it

  • Cream margarine and sugar together.
  • Add eggs and beat well add vanilla.
  • Sift all dry ingredients together add alternately with sour cream to the
  • creamed mixture.
  • Fold in apples.
  • Pour into a greased and floured bundt pan.
  • Sprinkle with this mixture before baking:
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp. margarine
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • Bake 40 minutes at 375 degrees.

    Other than being a real butter fanatic this sure sounds like my kind of cake! I love the moisture and distinct flavor the sour cream imparts, too.

    My kids would be rolling their eyes. All kidding aside, this cake needs no flower to pretty it up, it looks pretty good all on its own. I am saving it AND printing it off. Thanks Jett!

    I will be trying this so soon as the coffee cake we are eating now is gone. The sour cream makes the cake so very moist. Yum
