- Listening quietly and advise if needed
- Give a shoulder to cry on
- Have Kleenex, just in case
- Make a large pot of tea or coffee (it could be a long night)
- Have chocolate or some sweet to make it better
- Just be there
- Fold in Carefully:
- Tears
- Smiles
- Laughter
- Memories
Directions
- Mixing all of these you have a recipe of the Cherished friend, one you know will always be there for you in good times and bad and you for them. Someone who does not try to change you but accepts you as you are. Knows just when to call at that needed moment when you have to talk to someone. That special someone that you know you can always count on and they know they can count on you, as well.
