Ingredients
  • 4 boneless chicken breast
  • 1 cup of onion chopped
  • 1/2 can of original rotel, you can use the whole thing if u like
  • 1/3 cup of tomato sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp of chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 3/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions
  1. Add all ingredients to slow cooker, cook on low 4-5 hours shred, cook on low for another 30 mins

Really great! The chicken was so moist. I've never made boneless chicken breast (or any chicken) in the crock pot b/c I thought it would dry out. We put it on tortillas with a little cheddar cheese and rolled up burrito style and warmed in the oven. Oh, and served it with mexican riceIII from AR. Great meal. Loved it. Thanks!

I've been so into the slow cooked taco fillings lately! This sounds very good!


Ok. I'm going to be using this recipe to fill your homemade tortillas recipe with. Looking to do this some time next week--this week is going to be treacherously busy with cakes, kiddo going off to the beach, etc. SO--review next week!

This was very good! I used 5, very thick, boneless, pork chops. I increased most of the ingredients because of this. It took about 6 hours to get it to the shredding stage because they were so thick. I made it into soft tacos with lettuce, cheddar cheese and sour cream. I added my photo!

I love this recipe. I have actually done it twice but forgot to come and rate it the first time. Very easy to do and works great with whatever leftover chicken you might have in the fridge. :)
