Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 325.
  • Beat together butter and ½ cup of the confectioners’ sugar in bowl until smooth and creamy. Beat in almond extract. On low speed, stir in flour and nuts. Wrap dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate until firm.
  • Pinch off pieces of dough (heaping teaspoon size), roll into little logs, taper ends and bend into crescents. Place on ungreased baking sheets.
  • Bake for 15-17 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • Remove cookies to wire rack and dust generously with confectioners’ sugar. Cool completely on rack. If you want the fresh snow look, sprinkle again, after cooling, with remaining confectioners’ sugar. Yumm! Enjoy!

I'm not too crazy about these cookies but as long as mother is eating them, I'm happy.

Made these yesterday, and they were great! (If I'd read the instructions I would have known how much confectioners sugar, huh?) Big hit. Thanks for sharing.
