Ingredients

How to make it

  • Melt butter in small saute pan over medium heat. Add mushrooms and red peppers and cook until tender about 4 or 5 minutes. Salt and pepper them.
  • Meanwhile add the dijonnaise to one slice of bread. Put a slice of cheese on each bread to insure the mush. and peppers stay in place. Add the mushrooms and red peppers on cheese. Then close sandwich.
  • Spread butter on both outer halves of bread. Put in skillet and evenly brown over medium heat on both sides...ENJOY!!

    A really nice combo. I added a few sliced kalamata olives because I'm on a Mediterranean kick. Please don't get upset about that. It's a given that "No recipe survives first contact with other cooks". Thanks for a great post. RJ

    I made this for a late lunch today...sooooo good!!! I loved it! The only thing I did different was use whole wheat for the bread, and used yellow pepper. yum yum yum :)

    Wow! This is a tasty little sandwich!!! I made it exactly as written except I used wheat bread instead of rye. I made the dressing out of honey dijon mustard and mayo. I've never tried that before but I really liked it! It went perfectly with this sandwich! 10 Forks! I hope you like my pic! :)

    Yum! I do this as a simple fajita, but haven't grilled it in a sandwich before...but, will now! :) Great recipe...easy and tasty!
