Joans Whipped Canadian Shortbread

- 1 lb butter - not margerine (Room Temperature) shopping list
- 1 C. powdered sugar shopping list
- 1 C. cake flour (Silk) shopping list
- 1 C. cornstarch shopping list
- 1 C. flour shopping list
How to make it
- Whip butter until light and fluffy.
- Add remaining ingredients, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Divide dough into 3 lumps.
- On wax paper, form into 3 rolls.
- Chill 2 hours or overnights.
- Allow to warm slightly to slice thinly (1/4 of an inch) and decorate. You can use colored sugar.
- Bake at 300 F for 10-15 minutes. DO NOT BROWN, they should be just a pale color.
- Makes 90-100 Heavenly Cookies.
