Ingredients
  • 1 lb Butter - not margerine (Room Temperature)
  • 1 C. Powdered Sugar
  • 1 C. Cake Flour (Silk)
  • 1 C. Cornstarch
  • 1 C. Flour

Directions
  1. Whip butter until light and fluffy.
  2. Add remaining ingredients, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  3. Divide dough into 3 lumps.
  4. On wax paper, form into 3 rolls.
  5. Chill 2 hours or overnights.
  6. Allow to warm slightly to slice thinly (1/4 of an inch) and decorate. You can use colored sugar.
  7. Bake at 300 F for 10-15 minutes. DO NOT BROWN, they should be just a pale color.
  8. Makes 90-100 Heavenly Cookies.

What is the difference between cake flour and regular flour?


Cake flour has less gluten and therefore a more tender recipe!
