Irish Cream Cake

- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- 1/2 cup oil shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans shopping list
- 1 (3.4 ounce) instant vanilla pudding mix shopping list
- 1/4 cup water shopping list
- 3/4 cup irish cream liqueur shopping list
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut shopping list
- glaze ingredients: shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter shopping list
- 1 cup white sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup water shopping list
- 1/4 cup irish cream liqueur shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 325*
- Grease and flour 10-inch bundt pan.
- Sprinkle nuts and coconut evenly over bottom of pan.
- Combine cake mix and pudding mix.
- Mix eggs, oil, water, and Irish Cream
- Beat for 5 minutes at high speed.
- Pour over nuts in pan.
- Bake for 1 hour.
- Cool for 10 minutes while you make the glaze.
- Combine butter, water and sugar in a small saucepan.
- Bring to a boil and continue boiling for 5 minutes, stirring constantly with a whisk.
- Remove from heat and whisk in 1/4 cup Irish Cream.
- Invert cake onto serving plate.
- Prick top and sides of cake.
- Spoon glaze over the top and brush sides of cake, until the glaze is absorbed.
