Bacon Cookies Recipe

	Clbacon / All my dishes 1 year, 1 month ago I was recently reminded of these unusual cookies. They are good! Better than you might imagine. Enjoy them as a dessert cookie and as a breakfast cookie. Prep:45m Cook:18m Servings:8	Clbacon

Ingredients

1/2 pound bacon

1/2 cup butter

3/4 cup sugar

1 egg

1 teaspoon of vanilla

1 cup of flour

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

2 cups of multi-grain flakes (I use Kashi)

1/2 cup raisins

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees;

Cook bacon until crisp; drain well and crumble into pieces;

Beat together butter and sugar until light and fluffy; beat in egg and vanilla;

Combine flour and baking soda; stir into butter mixture;

Stir in crumbled bacon, multi-grain flakes and raisins;

Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet;

Bake for 15-18 minutes;

Cool before storing IF you can stop eating them!
