I made these for dinner tonight. Well, kinda made them. I totally forgot about the rub! Sheesh. I really loved the sauce though. My root beer took an hour to reduce enough. Maybe it was the size of my pan. I'm not certain. The sauce was great and I am glad I had some extra to pour on. I added my picture and put this in IMI 10/11/14

I've just put these in the oven after finding your recipe when looking for a US-style rib dish .We have just killed a young pig and have plenty of pork in the freezer ---beautiful Black Berkshire pigs ,a very rare breed down here in Australia now .The more we eat ,the more they are bred --keeps the breed alive !!

BTW..if you use garlic salt, you won't need any regular table salt. Just an afterthought!

I skipped the Root Beer (didn't have any), cinnamon, cloves, and vinegar. I used garlic salt, cayenne pepper, red cooking wine, and Black Cherry Soda instead as well as the other ingredients above. WOW! I mean....WOW! Delicious. The pork was tender and tasty. I had 3 helpings! Thanks for the recipe
