How to make it

  • To make batter:
  • whisk together beer, flour, paprika, and garlic until well blended.
  • Let this stand for 2 hours!
  • Peel avocados; cut into 6 wedges
  • Dredge wedges into reserved batter
  • Deep fry the wedges in HOT oil for 3 minutes.
  • Serve wegdes with salsa.

    Now I consider myself well read in the food area but I have NEVER heard of fried avacado. This sounds awesome! Saved! Where ever did you hear of this?
