Greek Lamb Pie By My Mother Who I Love And Adore

- 2 lbs diced lamb (raw) shopping list
- 1 lb potatoes (raw) shopping list
- 4 hard boiled eggs shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped onions shopping list
- 1/2 lb feta, crumbled shopping list
- 3 tbs melted butter shopping list
- 2 tbs chopped parsley shopping list
- 1 tbs chopped mint shopping list
- 1 clove garlic shopping list
- 1/4 cup rice (uncooked) shopping list
- 2 cups milk shopping list
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- 1/4 lb phyllo dough (16 sheets)- Keep between 2 damp cloths so as not to dry out during use. shopping list
How to make it
- Dice eggs and potatoes and combine all ingredients.
- Place 8 pastry sheets in the bottom of a large baking pan, butter each one individually.
- Spread mixture evenly over top sheets.
- Top with 8 more pastry sheets also buttered individually.
- Score the top of the pie into squares.
- Bake at 350 for about one hour.
