Ingredients
- 1 medium sized head cabbage shopping list
- 1 lb. ground beef shopping list
- 1 medium onion shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. butter shopping list
- 4 medium potatoes shopping list
- 1 (8 0z) cans tomato sauce shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Brown meat in skillet.
- Drain off fat and remove meat from skillet.
- Shred cabbage.
- Melt butter in skillet and add cabbage.
- Add meat to top of cabbage.
- Dice onion and add to top of meat.
- Peel and thinly slice potatoes.
- Arrange potatoes on top of onion.
- Pour tomato sauce evenly over potatoes.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Cover skillet and simmer for 1 hour or until cabbage and potatoes are tender.

Easy and tasty what could be better! When my children were younger I made this often. I have actually used hash brown potatoes. This is a good recipe. Thanks for reminding me of it!
