Ingredients

How to make it

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, oats, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
  • In a large bowl, cream together butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. One at a time, add eggs, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla. Gradually stir in flour mixture. Stir in chips. The dough will be very stiff and you will wonder if there is even enough to hold all the chips together! Don't worry, there is - just keep stirring.
  • Let the dough sit while you preheat the oven to 350 degrees and gather together your baking sheets and parchment paper. It will be a little soft, but still firm enough to handle. Roll dough into 1 to 1-1/2 inch balls. Place balls 2 inches apart on ungreased or parchment paper lined baking sheets. Bake 9-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool cookies for a few minutes on the baking sheets. Remove cookies to wire rack and cool completely. Store covered in an airtight container.
  • Note: Be sure to measure out each kind of chip separately. DO NOT use the new milk chocolate/peanut butter chip combination now available on the market or you will significantly alter the taste of these yummy cookies. Recipe makes about 6 dozen cookies and is easily doubled.

Just came by to get this recipe. My DD and I made these in the summer of 09 together. She had two guys wanting to date her. She fed them both these cookies on the same day and they both sincerely professed undying love. She marries the guy she picked that night on Sept 5 2011. Cookies are amazing but don't feed them to anyone you don't want to fall madly in love with you.

I just made these today and they were amazing!! I didn't have enough white-chocolate chips, so I added some chocolate-caramel swirl chips, and it was great! I think these may be the best cookies I've ever had!

I've been a fan of these for a while! Last time I made them I didn't want to bake the whole batch, so I froze some of the cookie dough balls. Good news - they bake nicely after being frozen; Bad news (for my thighs, anyway) frozen Fully-Loaded Cookie Dough is DELICIOUS!!!!

My five year old niece; better known on AR as "The Imp" who suggested using melted ice cream for Mac 'N' Cheese when you are out of milk would now like to know if we can add raisins to your recipe? She really believes in "fully loaded"

We just "adopted" a seminarian and I was thinking of making these to send in a care package for him. Do you think they would ship well?

These are FAB and I'm not even that big of a fan of peanut butter cookies. I couldn't stop eating them. They've taken a permanent place in my recipe book! Thanks, best!

These are the best, once you make them all your other cookie recipes can be thrown in the trash.
