Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats (NOT quick-cooking or instant)
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips (see note)
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup peanut butter chips (see note)

Directions
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, oats, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. One at a time, add eggs, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla. Gradually stir in flour mixture. Stir in chips. The dough will be very stiff and you will wonder if there is even enough to hold all the chips together! Don't worry, there is - just keep stirring.
  3. Let the dough sit while you preheat the oven to 350 degrees and gather together your baking sheets and parchment paper. It will be a little soft, but still firm enough to handle. Roll dough into 1 to 1-1/2 inch balls. Place balls 2 inches apart on ungreased or parchment paper lined baking sheets. Bake 9-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool cookies for a few minutes on the baking sheets. Remove cookies to wire rack and cool completely. Store covered in an airtight container.
  4. Note: Be sure to measure out each kind of chip separately. DO NOT use the new milk chocolate/peanut butter chip combination now available on the market or you will significantly alter the taste of these yummy cookies. Recipe makes about 6 dozen cookies and is easily doubled.

And here they are....the infamous Fully Loaded Cookies! :) Nice to see them, here, bc, I'm sure you'll get lots of fans of 'em!

Thank you, thank you. I have the recipe printed out and made it for a church picnic. They went FAST. Don't dare keep them at home if I want to fit in my clothes.

Hey Bestcooker, finally to see them in "formal" print matter....YEAH!!! I am just looking for one more ingredient to make these babies...I can hardly wait!! Go girl!!

Bestcooker I'm so happy that I have access to your wonderful cookies!! They have been raved about for months..Can't wait to make them. Thanks for sharing!

These are the best, once you make them all your other cookie recipes can be thrown in the trash.

These are FAB and I'm not even that big of a fan of peanut butter cookies. I couldn't stop eating them. They've taken a permanent place in my recipe book! Thanks, best!

The best cookies ever!

We just "adopted" a seminarian and I was thinking of making these to send in a care package for him. Do you think they would ship well?

My five year old niece; better known on AR as "The Imp" who suggested using melted ice cream for Mac 'N' Cheese when you are out of milk would now like to know if we can add raisins to your recipe? She really believes in "fully loaded"

These are great cookies! I am not a fan of peanut butter but these were really good. The person I made them for raved about them!

I've been a fan of these for a while! Last time I made them I didn't want to bake the whole batch, so I froze some of the cookie dough balls. Good news - they bake nicely after being frozen; Bad news (for my thighs, anyway) frozen Fully-Loaded Cookie Dough is DELICIOUS!!!!

Now I know what I was missing!! These were really good and my husband really liked them too :) They're on the blog today!

This are amazing! I didn't have white chocolate chips, so I used butterscotch instead. Will definitely be making these again!!!

I just made these today and they were amazing!! I didn't have enough white-chocolate chips, so I added some chocolate-caramel swirl chips, and it was great! I think these may be the best cookies I've ever had!

Fabulous recipe!

Add me to the list...my brother's girlfriend and I made these today cus we were both out of work, early...perfect cookie for that situation...we had a great time, the cookies were fantastic, and it made a bunch so she took some for her co workers, and I kept some for mine..and, enough for everyone to sneak a few. ;)

Boy, these are fully loaded! Love the recipe, will try for sure!
