Thanks to you and your FIL for sharing this yummy recipe and making my first experience with salisbury steak a good one! I used panko bread crumbs, Keni's Make It Yourself Condensed Cream Of Soups (mushroom version) but even though I set aside the 1/4 cup to put in the meat mixture I forgot to add it, oops :-/ I added all 3 optional ingredients but put the mushrooms in before I covered it. Served it over Mashed Redskin Potatoes. We enjoyed this as leftovers as well. Thanks, Donna!

Very quick and easy, even with from scratch "cream of" soup. Tasty.

In answer to Val below, yes, I've used dijon instead and it's good!

Okay, jj, I finally got to get this rated and add my pic! :) Wonderful...I made some minor changes(you know how it is), using my own cream of soup, dijon rather than yellow mustard and my meat was a beef/venison combo cus that's 'bout all I use. :) Anyway, the flavor was great, and it was very rich and hearty, of course! Served it with whipped taters and corn....comfort food defined...hehehe
