4 Bs Style Cream Of Tomato Soup

Ingredients
- 28-32oz can crushed tomatoes* shopping list
- 14oz petite diced tomatoes* shopping list
- 1 small onion, finely diced shopping list
- 2T butter shopping list
- 2 cups chicken stock shopping list
- 1pt half and half shopping list
- pinch baking soda shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- In large pan or dutch oven, saute onion in butter until soft
- Add tomatoes, stock and salt and pepper and cook until warmed through
- Add baking soda and stir to combine
- Add half and half and lower temp and heat to warm through
- taste and add more salt and pepper as needed
- *the TYPE of tomatoes in this is key, really, so, while subs can be made, I hope you try it just like this, first. :)

Wonderful post! Tomato is one of my favorite soups since childhood and that was a long, long time ago! Can't wait to give this a try!
