Not So Cream Puffs

- PUFF: shopping list
- 1 cup water shopping list
- 1 stick butter or margarine shopping list
- 1 cup flour shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- TOPPING: shopping list
- 1 8oz pkg. cream cheese, softened shopping list
- 1 6oz pkg. vanilla instant pudding shopping list
- 3 cups milk shopping list
- Cool Whip, optional shopping list
- chocolate sauce, optional shopping list
How to make it
- Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees.
- Bring water & butter to a boil.
- Add flour and stir until mixture leaves the sides of the pan and forms a ball.
- Transfer dough to a mixing bowl and beat in each egg individually until they are combined.
- Spread mixture into a sprayed 9x13 inch pan.
- Bake 30 minutes. (don't be alarmed if the "puff" is all puffed up but then some areas fall. Sometimes it happens & sometimes it won't)
- Cool completely
- For the topping, cream the cream cheese first then add the pudding and milk. Beat for 2-3 minutes or until pudding mixture thickens.
- Spread on top of puff, cut into servings and serve with optional cool whip & chocolate drizzled over top.
- Keep refrigerated
