I understand that the two onions you listed and the Texas 10-15 are the same plant grown in different locations.

OK made this one last night for the "girls". I substituted Asiago cheese for the cheddar. What a fantastic, moist, rich cornbread. I even had it for breakfast this am. Amazing and no fail.

Cornbread was good but not what I expected. It was along the lines of polenta in texture. I was expecting a drier cornbread to sop up the crockpot soup I was making. My bad.
It's still good cornbread on its own merits.
Sauteed the onion in bacon squeezings instead of butter.
