Marys Mexican Alfredo Recipe
A friend of mine came tonight and made this.. It was WONDERFUL! I actually paid attention.. Named it after her.. Mary!

Ingredients
  • 1 pound or more bow tie pasta cooked
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1/2 sweet onion sauteed in the butter
  • 2 Serrano peppers
  • 1 16 oz jar of Creama Mexicana.. it is like a sour cream but milder
  • called Mexican style table cream
  • 1 8 oz package cream cheese

Directions
  1. Boil the pasta
  2. While this is cooking
  3. Saute the onions
  4. put the creams in blender with the Serrano pepper
  5. add the onions
  6. whiz
  7. Pour sauce over the noodles and stir
  8. Serve
  9. This was so quick.. and good.. has a bite, but not hot..
  10. Yummy

This sounds absolutely incredible....I can not wait to try this one....even tho I know Im not gonna be able to find that Creama Mexicana stuff..

I love the Serrano peppers it really kicks up the heat and adds some spice in my life.

OK... this Creama Mexicana stuff.. as Zena calls it.. it is like a sour cream.. not as tart.. and thinner. I would think U could use sour cream and add some milk to it.
