My Dads Italian Summer Tomato Salad

A simplest salad my Dad taught me, which we ate on hot summer nights. It has very few ingredients ICE being one of the main components.
Ingredients
- 1 pound of vine ripe tomatoes shopping list
- Enough red wine vinegar or balsamic vinegar to so that when the juice from the tomatoes and melted ice you still have a tart flavor. shopping list
- crusty bread. shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil shopping list
- A few parsley leaves for garnish shopping list
- 1/1/2 cups of ice shopping list
