Heart Healthy N Hearty Layered Broccoli Salad

- 6 cups chopped broccoli flowerets shopping list
- 1 small red onion, very thinly sliced shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups (6 ounces) grated 50% light cheddar cheese shopping list
- 2/3 cup dried, sweetened cranberries or raisins shopping list
- 1/2 cups sliced canned beets (drained-rinsed) shopping list
- 1/2 cup plain fat free yogurt shopping list
- 3 tablespoons honey shopping list
- 2 tablespoons Light (no fat)mayonnaise shopping list
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar shopping list
- 1/4 cup unsalted, dry roasted, hulled sunflower seeds or chopped walnuts shopping list
- 1ounce (2 tablespoons) 50% less fat bacon pieces shopping list

- In a large, glass serving bowl, layer broccoli, onion and cranberries. In a small bowl, whisk together yogurt, honey, mayonnaise and vinegar. Drizzle the yogurt dressing over the layered salad. Layer cheese on top. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Sprinkle with sunflower seeds and bacon pieces just before serving. shopping list

How pretty this is! I would use the Hormel jarred bacon which are even lower in fat! You can find them in the salad dressing aisle. Great post!! 5+
