January Recipe Challenge!

Good morning and HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone!! It's time to start 2018 off with a new Recipe Challenge :-D

Here is how the Recipe Challenge works:
Anyone who would like can nominate a theme/topic. We will have 2 full days to vote (only the people who say "vote for..." in their comments will count) and on Wednesday Jan. 3rd I will announce the winning theme and we will have until January 31st to make a recipe falling under that category. The recipes can only be from this site. Please rate and review them on the recipe as well as here in the I Made It II :) Hope I covered everything and let me know if you have any questions! Have fun!

Lol, Joce! I was thinking of nominating salads, for all of us sick of rich foods. But it's too cold for that! Since we already did soups and stews, how about pasta or rice dishes? That could also be a soup, casserole or risotto etc...?

I like the Slow Cooker Idea too but looks like Pasta/Rice is getting all the votes which is also good so I'll vote Pasta/Rice and hope we can do Slow Cooker in February.

May I also say that I love when once a Recipe Challenge is announced that people list some of the recipes that are either their's or that they've tried that would work with the challenge. I find that really helpful and informative and well...fun. :)
