This reminds me of my Grammy's whiskey slush. Boy does it sound good and refreshing!!!!

I've had Brandy Slush in the past, this is much easier. The other recipes I had called for brewing some tea and going from there. This is so easy. I just made some a little while ago.

How about I just drink the Vodka! sugar and me don't get along, but the drink sounds so good I may have to at least try it once or twice.

I made it yesterday so I could take the pic. Had a glass last night with Tonic Water. Very refreshing and perfect in the summer. I bet you could use a sugar substitute in it and it would work well. The problem is that the lemonade and limeade both also have sugar.

BOOKMARKED!!! I'll tell you what I told another foodie, this takes me back to my growing up days. My parents would make this and have it when their friends came over. Thanks for adding another one to my recipes. Also I put this in the Masters of Mixology group. Thanks for posting....

I made this last night, with just the juices, just poured a bit in a glass and added some Vodka and ice then blended in the blender until it was a bit slushy.. Have you had Mike's Hard Lemonade mix, it's about like that.

:)

Yes, I've had that. I like this better because of the lime flavor. I love lime. I had a glass of this last night. It's a good relaxer.

I love lime, too! I keep limeade in the freezer all the time. Thanks for a terrific recipe.

I love this stuff! It's good with whatever mixer you choose. I've recently tried lemon lime soda with it and it's good too. One glass is all I need to relax. I am in the middle of moving and I've had a recent knee injury, so it does double duty as a pain killer and over all relaxer. Plus it's so tasty!

OH WOW!! Bookmarked this one!!! Cannot wait for the weekend!! I have a bottle of Grey Goose that's just waiting for this!

Can't wait to try your lime vodka slush, Bookmarked. Thanks for the post.

Love slushes too, this is great, thanks for sharing. Good post.

Boy this sure would be great in our HOT arizona summers!

OHHH, this sounds good!! I've made something a little like this with sour mix and blue curacao - gives it a pretty color!

This sounds wonderful, esp for the summer, can't wait to try it! Thanks.

I just had my 1st Mojito of the season yesterday. I am bookmarking this!

Oh boy, another imported drink from Wisconsin. (My husband drinks Leinenkugel) I can have a Wisconsin themed party. Don't worry I won't invite Brett. L.

I am bookmarking this for summer, but likely will try it long before then!

This is great! A friend of mine makes something called bullfrogs. It is similar to this. She uses sprite, limeaide, and vodka. It is great! hits you fast and hard. High 5!

Oh I like the sound of this drink I will try ASAP.
