Ingredients

1/2 cup plain flour

1/2 cup salt

1/4 tsp. essential oil

2/3 cups boiling water

Food coloring, if desired

Glitter or other "mix in's" as desired to personalize

Kitchen Gloves

Option: Substitute a small quantity of your favorite perfume for the essential oil.

** Adult supervision is recommended. Gloves are also recommended, as essential oils and fragrances may be irritating to the skin or toxic.**

Directions

In a bowl, mix all dry ingredients well.

Add your favorite essential oil and boiling water to dry ingredients.

(The scent will be strong, but will fade slightly when your rocks dry.)

For colored stones, blend in food coloring, one drop at a time, until desired shade is reached.

Blend ingredients and form roughly shaped stones. (I like to make them small)

Have fun!

Allow stones to dry for about 2 hours.

I am not familiar with a *Hobby Lobby*, or about *room diffusers*, but if you go to any Health Food store, they will carry oils in a variety of scents. This is a nice way to do a project on a snowy day or over a weekend! You can double the mixture to make more, it all depends on the size of the sculpted shapes you want to make.
