Ingredients

How to make it

  • In a bowl, mix all dry ingredients well.
  • Add your favorite essential oil and boiling water to dry ingredients.
  • (The scent will be strong, but will fade slightly when your rocks dry.)
  • For colored stones, blend in food coloring, one drop at a time, until desired shade is reached.
  • Blend ingredients and form roughly shaped stones. (I like to make them small)
  • Have fun!
  • Allow stones to dry for about 2 hours.
  • Home made freshner!

I am not familiar with a *Hobby Lobby*, or about *room diffusers*, but if you go to any Health Food store, they will carry oils in a variety of scents. This is a nice way to do a project on a snowy day or over a weekend! You can double the mixture to make more, it all depends on the size of the sculpted shapes you want to make.

I love the idea of putting them in the ash tray in the car, a natural freshener. Now do you know how they make the oils for the room diffusers? I have some that I need to refill and I'm so cheap, *wink* I wonder what proportion of oil they use. I'll be trying this quite soon. Thanks so very much for the post, dear.

Excellent idea!!! I am anxious to make these. What a wonderful way to use up perfumes or essential oils that are not being used quickly enough. Cheers!!!
