Scent Rocks

Something fun to make! Place scent stones in a bowl or dish to scent a room, or try in the ashtray of your vehicle.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup plain flour shopping list
- 1/2 cup salt shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. essential oil shopping list
- 2/3 cups boiling water shopping list
- food coloring, if desired shopping list
- Glitter or other "mix in's" as desired to personalize shopping list
- Kitchen Gloves shopping list
- Option: Substitute a small quantity of your favorite perfume for the essential oil. shopping list
- ** Adult supervision is recommended. Gloves are also recommended, as essential oils and fragrances may be irritating to the skin or toxic.** shopping list
How to make it
- In a bowl, mix all dry ingredients well.
- Add your favorite essential oil and boiling water to dry ingredients.
- (The scent will be strong, but will fade slightly when your rocks dry.)
- For colored stones, blend in food coloring, one drop at a time, until desired shade is reached.
- Blend ingredients and form roughly shaped stones. (I like to make them small)
- Have fun!
- Allow stones to dry for about 2 hours.
- Home made freshner!
