Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. mushrooms, chopped

1/2 onion, chopped (I've also used shallots)

2 cloves garlic, chopped

1 cup sour cream

1 tbls. soy sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

Chives, chopped to garnish

Olive oil to saute vegetables

Directions

Heat oil over medium heat

Saute onion a minute or 2

Add garlic and mushrooms and saute for about 10 minutes

Cool

Add to food processor and pulse until smooth.

Add sour cream, soy sauce, and salt and pepper and pulse to blend

If serving over potatoes, garnish with chives

If using for dip, add 1 roma tomato, seeded and chopped then garnish with chives
