Rachaels Southern Style Okra And Tomatoes Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound cut okra, fresh or frozen

1 large can diced italian tomatoes

1 small can diced italian tomatoes

1 small can tomato sauce

1/2 to 1 can rotel tomatoes (depending on your taste for hot)

1 pound hamburger, cook and drained

Worcestershire sauce, several shakes

heintz 57 sauce, 1/2 cup to a cup (depending on your taste)

salt and pepper to taste

greek seasoning to taste

onion powder to taste

garlic powder to taste

season all to taste

Mrs Dash to taste

Directions

Cook and drain hamburger, season with onion and garlic powder while cooking.

In a large dutch oven place okra and tomatoes, rotel and rest of seasonings and sauces into pan; bring to a boil

Add hamburger and cook for about 30 to 40 minutes on low.

Stir occasionally to keep okra from sticking.

Serve with cornbread.
