I am thankful for...

My children.

My family.

Every day I open my eyes.

The clothes on my back and the shoes I can wear.

The leaky roof over my head and the flooded basment under my feet.

I am thankful for the food in the kitchen that feeds my family and the way we feel when we share a delicious meal together (not just on holidays).

I am thankful for each of you, who throughout my time here, have been so kind and willing to share your amazing recipes, pictures and stories about your families and the warmth in your hearts.

Madmommy....you stated it beautifully. Be thankful for the small things in life and the good things will come to you. We will not be able to share with our 3 kids and their families at Thanksgiving this year, but are fortunate to have my parents and my mother-in-law, who are in their mid-80s, around the table with us. That in itself is a big blessing. Enjoy the moments that make you smile! Happy Thanksgiving.
