I have made tater tots before but the recipe said to parboil the potatoes first. they got a tad mushy in the center. i will try your recipe soon

So i finally got to make these. they are much better than parboiling. they turned out perfectly crispy. i froze these on a cookie sheet, threw them in a freezer bag, and baked them at 400. they were awesome w/ grilled hot dogs and homemade mac and cheese. i will make them again. thanks!

I love homemade tater tots! I used a recipe from this site that is similar to this one except it had chives and cheddar cheese in it! Great stuff! Thanks Missdrea, for showing this in the "I Made It" group!
