Ingredients

How to make it

  • Saute all veggies in olive oil til tender.
  • Add salt + pepper to taste.
  • Then add shredded beef leftovers and simmer for a few minutes.
  • Add water and bring to a boil. Simmer for 30 minutes.
  • Then add barley and simmer for another 30 minutes.
  • Then serve and enjoy!

    What an amazing recipe.5 forks.

    When I seen the rating on this recipe and I seen the ingredients that I couldn't pass this by and thought to myself that I thought that I would give ya an 5 for this great and wonderful recipe. To those of them that gives you an lower rating on this one.Shame on them.This recipe "DON'T" need an lower rating.This recipe deserves an high rating.Never let your guard down.You'll get there advenally.I've been there and still have lower ratings.Don't let them meanies get too you like they had me this month.Stay positive and strong. Things will get better.

    This was wonderful! I used stew meat beef, but cant wait to make it with Myrons Amazing Beef. I also added some minced garlic...perfect. I also took your suggestion and made the Garlic Cheddar Buscuits with them...perfect match! Great recipe Lillian!

    I made this soup tonight only I used diced roast beef that I simply seasoned with pepper and browned slightly, then added to stock with the vegetables prepared like your recipe. It was completely wonderful and I will make again, cant wait to try it with your beef leftovers.. thank you for a great soup.
