This recipe came off of a 1 pound package of Wal-Mart Chuck Ground Beef. I tried it and it came out wonderful. It makes a soup-like chili.

Gotta try this one. I've seen people add chocolate to their chili on food network and every time I mention doing that the family wrinkles their noses. So with the cocoa powder will definitely keep it 'secret'. ;-P

I put a pinch of cinnamon on my chili and it gives it a good taste but I've never tried the cocoa powder in it but I will now ;)

I am making chili today - todays morning temperature was -6*F, with a 20* windchill. I make my chili in a similar fashion - with the addition of garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, celery seed and cumin. I also use stewed tomatoes - I can be lazy and not chop onion or peppers. In place of water I use boxed beef broth. I just tasted the chili with the new addition of the chili powder and that makes a wonderful flavor! Thanks much for the secret ingredient. (I always wondered why my chili never looked as deep and rich in color as some I have seen - now it does!)

This is an excellent recipe, and worthy of a five fork rating, Sir.
I see you were rated 13 times, yet my rating shows twelve.
Someone has under-cut you.
I hope this stops.
