Excellent for marinates, dressings, to replace sugar in some recipes, in tomato sauces that need a little bit of sugar... etc. Better with the pass of time

I've done the honey with hot peppers and never ever thought of doing garlic. This is a wonderful recipe and I can't wait to baste a piece of salmon. YUM.

How long do you put in boiling water to seal ??

Hi Tamsmo... I dont put Garlic Honey in boiling water to seal... but it's a good idea... I will do it, thanks!

Oohhhhhhh, yum!

My two favorite ingredients together. you can't go wrong. i've found myself using these 2 particular ingredients in most of my cooking and never realized that i could marinate these 2 together, duh! thanks for the inspiration :O)

This would make a tasty dipping sauce for spicy chicken or egg rolls

How novel and brilliant and EASY! I love simple but brilliant and versatile idea like this one. Thank you for a great post and love the picture too :)

Something tells me that this may go well with chicken? Have you used it for that?

Great idea! I can't wait to try it.

Sounded funny, but would be excellant for grilled chicken or pork or well you get what I'mm trying to say. Tasty!!

Just a little word of caution. If you want to store this for a long time...for the flavours to develop, blanch the cloves in boiling water for 30 seconds to destroy any nasty enzymes. I pickle a lot of garlic and I always take this simple precaution.
I've just joined the site and it looks great.

Dingerbell? Would you recommend refrigerating? Or just countertop after blanching and blending? Honey keeps nicely and I would think this would be a countertop item.
